Meet Tomáš Brzon

Czech artist Tomáš Brzon was born in Nový Bor and trained at the prestigious School of Glassmaking in Kamenický Šenov. Tomáš has honed his craft alongside celebrated artists including Martin Rosol, Jan Mares, and Latchezar Boyadjiev. Now working from his studio in Nový Bor, his work has been exhibited across Europe and the United States.

Tomáš is rapidly gaining international recognition for his striking geometric glass sculptures that blend polished and matte surfaces. His masterful technique reveals intricate internal and external contours, resulting in visually dynamic compositions that push the boundaries of contemporary glass art. Tomáš finds inspiration in the shapes and imagery of his everyday surroundings and experiences. Light, in particular, serves as the driving force behind his artistic expression with glass. By harnessing light's interaction with form and surface texture, he produces objects that challenge perception through reflection and refraction.

His works are deceptively simple yet optically captivating pieces.
