Peter Layton Receives Lifetime Achievement Award at Collect 2026
At Collect Art Fair 2026, Peter Layton was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award - the first person to ever receive it. It was a truly gratuitous afternoon, filled with well-deserved commemorations and acknowledgments, reflections on his impactful career, and exciting introductions to the next chapter of London Glassblowing.
Gather Demonstrations
On Saturday 14 March, as part of our annual Gather exhibition, two masters of contemporary glassmaking took to our hotshop for an unforgettable afternoon of live demonstration. Resident artist Louis Thompson was joined by celebrated guest artist James Maskrey - a long-term friend and fellow giant of the British glass world.

On Thursday 5 February, celebrated glass artist Louis Thompson led an intimate artist talk and hot shop tour, delving into his career path and revealing the tools, materials, and inspirations behind his captivating work. With nearly thirty years working alongside Peter Layton, the audience witnessed the journey of a true master glass artist.
Booth Talks at Collect Art Fair
At Collect this year, we brought the conversation to our booth with intimate artist talks. James Maskrey unveiled The Drayton Egg, a special piece for our 50th anniversary, and founder Peter Layton and artist Tim Rawlinson reflected on five decades of London Glassblowing and its enduring impact on British studio glass.

As 2025 drew to a close, we celebrated our Golden Year with a spectacular series of festive events. From wine tastings with Lant Street Wines to our first-ever jewellery spotlight weekend and the enchanting Blowing by Candlelight evening, our gallery became the perfect winter destination to mark 50 years of London Glassblowing.
Online Le Verre Demonstrations
To coincide with our participation at PAD London and Le Verre, our post - PAD exhibition, London Glassblowing offered a series of livestreamed events. Including demonstrations from Devereux & Patchen, Tim Rawlinson and Enemark & Thompson.
