Online Demonstration with John Moran
London Glassblowing was thrilled to be joined by Netflix’s Blown Away Season 3 winner, John Moran for a live demonstration in our studio. Moran created a piece from his signature Bear Essentials series.
------------------
Moran’s work, inspired by his interest in politics, pop culture, and contemporary art, aims to challenge and critically examine topical social issues. This iconic Bear Essentials series is no exception. Representative of childhood nostalgia and forgotten memories, this collection arouses a sense of loss and former innocence, often evoking great emotion in his viewers. Moran has suggested that the making of this series is a highly cathartic process and one that holds great sentiment for him.
