Sarsen II
Stones and rocks, whether found in the environment or fashioned by human hand, can symbolise the Anthropic fingerprint of our existence in the world. They can energise our creative imagination, have perceived powers of healing and can channel spiritual guidance and personal reassurance. Sarsen stone, derived from the word for Saracen, is a bluish stone. It is found across Southern England and Salisbury Plain and has been used in the construction of iconic monuments such as Stonehenge.
