Menkib
Menkib is a direct result of this exploration, with geometry, balance, and symmetry serving as its core principles. He strives to create works that are both complex and visually harmonious, inviting the viewer to engage with the subtle nuances of the material.
In Menkib, the deep aquamarine rectangular body anchors the composition, its central lens manipulating light and subtly shifting the colour. The clear and fritted glass insert adds depth and texture, while the delicately balanced clear glass top introduces a sense of fragility and equilibrium, contrasting with the solidity of the main form.
