Description
In Tesselate, Tim explores the way colour can be created through layering and transparency. Using glass canes in only the three primary colours - red, yellow and blue - he creates the illusion of secondary colours, with green, orange and purple appearing through the overlapping layers. The effect relies on the eye mixing the colours rather than the glass itself containing them.
Tim first developed this cane-based technique over a decade ago, experimenting with how layering and transparency could create colour through light. For Gaffers and Protégés, he has revisited the technique, developing the idea further through new compositions and a more refined approach.

We personally pack each shipment with care and aim to send most orders out within 1-3 working days. Orders placed on a Friday will be shipped the following week. Within the UK delivery typically takes 1-3 working days. International delivery typically takes 5-14 working days, depending on location.
