Description
During a 2009 residency at the University of South Australia, David created the Another Kind of Dignity series, inspired by Ned Kelly, the 19th-century Australian outlaw whose legend was immortalised in Sidney Nolan’s 1940s paintings. Using abstracted figures, David explores a man shaped by prejudice and injustice, forced into a life of crime. The works question perception and symbolism, leaving it open whether the figure holds guns or rolled documents - alluding to Kelly’s intelligence, his records, and his fight against injustice.

We personally pack each shipment with care and aim to send most orders out within 1-3 working days. Orders placed on a Friday will be shipped the following week. Within the UK delivery typically takes 1-3 working days. International delivery typically takes 5-14 working days, depending on location.
