"Spectrum" Corruption

£5,400.00

Glass, with its transparency, possesses the ability to refract light. These pieces are lenses hand-sculpted while in their hot liquid form, retaining the characteristics of molten glass. They imitate water or raindrops, distorting nature.

The strict linear colour application appears true from one side, yet creates an erroneous state from the other. This projects an altered and distorted view, continuously revealing new details to the viewer. These forms illustrate how our perception can change, reflecting the transformations we encounter in nature and our own lives.
