Description
Alison has always been interested in textiles, especially clothing. Fabric preserves the essence of its maker, with traces of the wearer entwined in the warp and weft, allowing objects to become containers for memory. This interest began with family heirlooms, including a christening robe over one hundred years old, which inspired a major body of work. Through this work she explores family links, fragility, and the parallels between birth and death, realising that these “little dresses” can be read in many ways, allowing clothing to act as a metaphor for wider human experience. For Alison, art becomes a powerful medium for understanding, dialogue, and compassion.

Delivery, Collection & Returns
We personally pack each shipment with care and aim to send most orders out within 1-3 working days. Orders placed on a Friday will be shipped the following week. Within the UK delivery typically takes 1-3 working days. International delivery typically takes 5-14 working days, depending on location.
All orders are shipped via DHL with a signed-for service. You will receive shipping details as soon as your order is booked in. If you have a specific day you'd like to receive your order, please let us know. We're also happy to include a handwritten note if you'd like.
