Stratiform 2.0 Purpura
Liam utilises the language associated with digital projection and fabrication in order to fabricate objects that are planned and constructed. He uses glassmaking techniques as ‘layers’, ‘filters’ and ‘tools’ in a manner that is analogous with current and future modes of design and production. The intention is to ultimately use the traditional process of glassblowing to create works that explore current intersections between material, pattern, colour and form.
