Bruce Marks

Fish

£1,200.00

Using the Venetian technique, Incisio - which was first made popular by Carlo Scarpa in the 1940s when he was the artistic director for Venini - Bruce carves through layers of glass to reveal illuminating colours.

Through meticulous coldworking techniques, Bruce skillfully manipulates the glass, unveiling striking patterns and subtle colour variations that bring his fish-like creations to life. The sculptural forms, reminiscent of the sleek and streamlined contours of aquatic creatures, invite the viewer to explore the interplay of light and shadow upon their surface.
