Description
Peter’s Carved Waves mark an important breakthrough in his creative process, uniting hot and cold working in a fresh and experimental way. Traditionally, Peter shaped molten glass by adding elements during the hot stage. In this new approach, he first creates a hotsculpted blank, which is then cooled and carved with diamond-impregnated wheels to cut deep furrows into the surface. The piece is subsequently reheated and transformed at the furnace, where it is worked into wave-like structures. This method of removing rather than adding creates striking optical effects, as light plays across the carved surfaces to produce rhythms that verge on the kinetic, suggesting both the power and perpetual motion of the sea.

Delivery, Collection & Returns
We personally pack each shipment with care and aim to send most orders out within 1-3 working days. Orders placed on a Friday will be shipped the following week. Within the UK delivery typically takes 1-3 working days. International delivery typically takes 5-14 working days, depending on location.
All orders are shipped via DHL with a signed-for service. You will receive shipping details as soon as your order is booked in. If you have a specific day you'd like to receive your order, please let us know. We're also happy to include a handwritten note if you'd like.
