Meet Olga Alianova
Olga Alianova is an international glass artist and designer. She established her career in 2010 in her native St Petersburg, Russia (Venice of the north), and studied with masters of glass in Murano. She is exhibited globally, sought after by collectors and fashion-forward individuals.
Olga's love for glass sparked spontaneously, propelling her to become a glass artist and jewellery designer for over a decade. After working in the corporate world, the Russian economy's downturn prompted her to pursue her buried passions. She was taught to work with the open flame by her mother, Elena Hernburg, an internationally renowned artist and master lampworker herself.
She incorporates rich colours into her work and each individual bead is hand blown and strung together, always perfecting her technique. The jewellery is finished with a bronze extender chain to adjust the length for comfortable wear.
