Refracted encourages the viewer to physically engage with the work, moving around it to get multiple angles and perspectives. By hand cutting the surface of each piece to form facets, light is refracted around the work, bouncing around the internal space and distorting both the colour and shape of the piece. Similar colour tones are combined to create hues that resist categorisation, rendering each work unique.
