Description
Aurum draws inspiration from the ancient practice of alchemy and the quest to create gold from base metals. In these works, metals such as iron, tin, and cobalt are combined with glass to produce vibrant, transformative colours. The surfaces are gilded with gold leaf over a battutoed texture, evoking the look of hammered metal. The vial-like forms reference the vessels alchemists used in their experiments, entwining the base with the precious. Harriet’s pieces celebrate the alchemical beauty of transformation, marrying materiality, colour, and historical symbolism in luminous glass forms.

We personally pack each shipment with care and aim to send most orders out within 1-3 working days. Orders placed on a Friday will be shipped the following week. Within the UK delivery typically takes 1-3 working days. International delivery typically takes 5-14 working days, depending on location.
