Description
This is one of two versions that incorporate uranium glass, and which re-iterate ecological concerns expressed in many of Peter’s earlier sculptural works. It questions the wisdom of encapsulating radio-active waste in glass and burying it.
One of these featured on the Channel Four programme, ‘Four Rooms’ and was sold into a private collection.
The piece also warns of the growing threat of nuclear war in the face of absurd ongoing conflicts around the world.
