Silent Auction

15 - 25 May

Special 50th Anniversary Selection

Auction Lots by Peter Layton

Our celebrated Silent Auction returns for an edition like no other - marking fifty extraordinary years of London Glassblowing. This milestone anniversary brings with it an opportunity to acquire exceptional works from British studio glass.

At the heart of this auction lies Peter Layton's personal 'Highlight' collection - pieces he has been keeping aside from the gallery collections, now offered to collectors. Alongside these, you will find distinguished works by Tim Rawlinson, our gifted resident artists, and specially invited guest artists, who have joined us this golden year.

How it Works

If you haven’t experienced any of our auctions before, here's a quick overview:

Each Auction Lot has a Gallery Price (to guide you) and a Reserve Price (the minimum amount you may bid - this is a discounted gallery price). The value of the current highest bid is not publicised – that’s why it is ‘silent’!

With reserve prices set thoughtfully below gallery value, this is a singular chance to acquire works of genuine museum quality, spanning the full arc of an art form's evolution.

A convergence of past, present, and the artists who define this moment. Do not let it pass.
