Chivas Regal
When Chivas Regal launched a new global advertising campaign they approached Peter Layton to create glass containers to bring to life the complexity of the Chivas 18 blend. Peter set about crafting beautiful hand-blown amber glass droplets to hold flavour notes such as cinnamon, honey, lavender and raspberry.
Peter said “There were two main challenges we had to resolve to achieve the perfect drops. The first was to create an opening big enough to place the ingredients, the second was the suspension of the drops. It took time, patience, skill and the power of collaboration to solve those perfectly.”
See the Chivas 18 film below. The acclaimed artist/photographer, Dan Tobin Smith collaborated with Peter throughout the design and making process.
