Sea Collection Bottle 4

The exhibited works were developed through her QEST Scholarship and the Arts Council of Wales-funded "Mutualism" project, focusing on Verity's connection to nature, spirituality, and sense of place in Wales. The Sea Collection Bottles resemble ocean sampling bottles used by Bangor University's Ocean Sciences Department, with stoppers made from locally-found beach materials. The larger Mutualism Bottles take inspiration from university lab containers housing diatoms and plankton, featuring pâte de verre stoppers with enamelled designs mimicking moss and algae growth patterns.
