A spherical cube, with 6 polished faces. The origin of this piece is from a commission to create a hyperbolic paraboloid form in glass. This shape is created from a network of purple canes suspended inside a solid sphere of glass. This piece is hot sculpted, then kiln casted to create a sense of movement within. Peering through the polished lenses you get a sense of another world within.
