Kelp Swell III

Nina’s work is inspired by lichens, seeds, sticks, fungi and seaweed. She seeks accumulation and repetitive patterns in nature and is constantly inspired to make her own abstraction, mixing a group of ideas and making it into glass textures, colour pattern and form. The inspirational characteristics she uses are shapes and patterns you can find in different natural environments which allow the viewer to see the piece from their own perspective, which they would relate to their own experiences and observations with nature.
