Black Paradiso Extra Large Tall Stoneform

Renowned for his flamboyant painterly approach to glassmaking, many years ago Peter Layton developed Paradiso, which grew to become one of his signature series. Paradiso has undergone a number of evolutionary phases and colourways. Peter's gestural painterly qualities are given a greater sense of mystery and depth in the subtle tonal overlays of this incarnation. It is called Black Paradiso, but in fact the salient difference is the inclusion of a reactive purple.
