Description
Layne’s fascination and love for birds began early in his life, when he experienced the release of trained pigeons. The memory of watching them take flight, and the sense of freedom and possibility it inspired, has stayed with him since childhood.
For centuries, the power of flight has influenced mythological creatures such as Pegasus, Icarus and the angels. These glass wings are a symbol of freedom, unity, strength and power, while also conveying a sense of the fragility of life.
The installation is made up of 90 glass feathers, each individually sculpted in clear glass with fine canework inclusions. Every feather is hung from the bones of the wings, beautifully forged in metal by Ryan Harms.

Delivery, Collection & Returns
We personally pack each shipment with care and aim to send most orders out within 1-3 working days. Orders placed on a Friday will be shipped the following week. Within the UK delivery typically takes 1-3 working days. International delivery typically takes 5-14 working days, depending on location.
All orders are shipped via DHL with a signed-for service. You will receive shipping details as soon as your order is booked in. If you have a specific day you'd like to receive your order, please let us know. We're also happy to include a handwritten note if you'd like.
