Sabrina’s latest creations continue to explore themes in nature, and our beautiful planet within the universe. Radical bold colour combinations have been used to harness the more dramatic experiences drawn from nature. Her works are inspired by the traditional 72-sided Campanus polyhedron sphere. Sabrina utilises both 72-sides and 180-sides, bisected into half spheres to form open portal viewing faces that reveal sunsets within. The arrangement of abstract faces replicate the sun’s rays and light, offering captivating optics as the viewer looks through and moves around the artwork. Through the celestial elements and geometric design, Sabrina invites the imagination to consider stars and our mortality.
