Wonderland Credenza

Coucou Manou's Wonderland Collection draws inspiration from diverse sources, from folk art to childhood memories. Influenced by her former home overlooking the Limpley Stoke valley near Bath, she adapts sgraffito and intaglio techniques to Valchromat, a sustainable composite material. Using a handheld carving tool, she creates intricate patterns of imaginary flora, balancing whimsy with structure. Her process involves hand-drawing, carving, and painting, resulting in harmonious designs. The versatility of Valchromat allows for endless colour possibilities, enhancing the collection's dreamlike quality.
