This experimental version of a ‘Burano’ style treatment is currently the only one of its kind.
Freeformed, with the help of Elliot Walker, it incorporates particularly delicate lacework, and derives its fugitive reflective properties from the thickly applied casing of clear glass. I have kept this piece for many years as a resource for further exploration due to its special mandala-like qualities.
It is mounted on a solid base of ground and polished black glass.
