Shipping Information

Once you have found the perfect piece of glass, our Gallery Manager Gena or our Gallery Assistant Amy will personally wrap, pack and arrange delivery of your new artwork. We pack the work extremely carefully to ensure it arrives safely.

If you would like to get an item shipped to a country that isn’t in the list below please email gena@londonglassblowing.co.uk with the following:

  • A link to the specific product(s) you are interested in
  • The delivery address & country

We will get back to you with a quote as soon as possible.

For most UK, EU and US orders, we generally ship with UPS and use a signed-for service. We will email you tracking details as soon as we have them.

Breakages are extremely rare – as we said, we pack things well – but if your purchase arrives damaged, please call us immediately.

For particularly fragile works, we ship in a custom-built crate with foam padding. This is subject to an additional cost, which varies roughly between £100-150 for a UK delivery. Occasionally we use companies such as Ebiss who specialise in fine art shipping, and we have successfully sent fragile works half way round the world using their excellent service.

All artworks on our online gallery have had the shipping costs set by a combination of their weight and the desired shipping destination. We reserve the right to amend the cost of shipping should for any reason we need to – although we should stress that this would be highly unlikely. If the amended cost was not satisfactory to you, then of course we would issue a full refund.

If you have any questions regarding your purchase, please call Gena on +44(0)20 7403 2800 or email her at gallery@londonglassblowing.co.uk

We are a small, family-run business, and we like to think we’re pretty nice people. If something goes wrong at any stage of the way, with anything you purchase online, we’ll do our absolute best to sort it out for you as quickly as possible.

If you purchase an artwork and you’re not completely happy with it, you are welcome to return it to us (at your expense) and providing it arrives back safely, and in the exact condition it was sent, we’ll give you a full refund. We comply with the distance selling act regulations and you have seven working days from the day after you receive your goods to notify us if you’d like to return anything.

We do our absolute best to ship all purchases as soon as possible and aim to send most orders out within 2 working days. During busy periods this may increase slightly.

Customer Testimonials

“Dear Laura,

My son Jonathan has received the piece of Layton glass, which he loves. As a long time collector of Peter’s work I am glad to have made another convert.

His receipt of the piece is entirely due to your speedy intervention with the couriers and we both wish to thank you so much for the way you dealt with the problem.

With Kindest Regards,
Garrett Lyons”

“Dear Peter,

I just want to let you know that my beautiful vase has been delivered in good order.

Every time I look at it, it makes me feel so happy – thank you for that.

With friendly regards,
Iris Rietveld”

“Dear James

Just a note to say the Peter Layton pieces arrived in perfect order, many thanks.

They are both stunning works of art. I have to say ‘Arrival of Spring’ took my breath away when I unwrapped it.

I would also like to thank you for your kindness with the complimentary gifts, I am looking forward to sitting peacefully and reading the book.

Very best wishes
Debbie Lowndes”

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Laura McKinley, the Gallery Manager at London Glassblowing, for her excellent customer service over a wee problem I had with my order. It was such a surprise and it’s very rare to get such service.”

“Dear Laura

My parcel arrived today and I can only say wow! The bauble is beautiful and perfect and the book is stunning, I hadn’t realised that Peter’s work was the work I’d been admiring and sharing for months.

Thank you again for your excellent customer service, it’s very rare.

Best wishes
Caroline King”
