This collaboration was sparked by a conversation between Bruce Marks and Cathryn Shilling as they reflected on the delight of discovering ocean creatures and plants in and around rock pools during seaside holidays as children.

Their artworks, Tidal I and II, are devised of many different complex canes, fused together to mirror miniature marine eco systems. The intention is to captivate viewers with intricate details and evoke nostalgic childhood memories and emotions.
