Lotus was the first ground optical glass object that I began to work on in 1988. Inspired by the yoga position of meditation and introspection of the same name, Lotus is a phenomenon that has fascinated me from that time. My Lotus work comprises an extremely minimalistic form, a polished square sitting on one tip, with the appearance of leaning backwards.  A seemingly simple form, but one which hides unexpected depths.
