Anyone looking at Peter’s work will realise how important landscape and environmental concerns are as ongoing themes in his expressive handling of glass as his primary medium.

Archipelago has been developed from Peter’s long-standing and ever popular Paradiso series, but is also influenced by his delight in the extraordinary aerial photographs by the great Jan Arthus-Bertrand whose amazing publication ‘The Earth from the Air’ continues to serve as a resource and stimulus. Peter has been heard to say “nature provides the most comprehensive source of inspiration there is”.
