About this piece

This exquisite, delicate dish is one of the jewels of this collection. The fragile glass filiments have been interwoven by hand with extremely fine copper thread. The level of intricacy in this piece is astounding. Karen’s prodigious attention to detail is evident in every single one of the hundreds of filaments which make up this remarkable piece.
