‘My latest series titled ‘Abstract Geometry’ was a way for me to explore not only the fundamental properties of refractive forms, but also to have fun with them.
The pieces themselves are constructed of perfectly clear optical glass, lending a quiet, tranquil quality to the forms themselves. However, the drama comes from the internal reflections created by the highly polished faces of the geometric structure. At the centre of each piece lies a panel of light sensitive dichroic glass, which has been kiln formed in such a way as to capture its own unique landscape.” – Anthony Scala
