Away from the heat and exotic smells of the Casbah, the glorious hustle, bustle and jostle of the Souks, lies the Jardin Majorelle, a living work of art. Originally created in the 1930’s, this magnificent garden was restored during the 1980’s by Yves St Laurent. Art Deco in style it is famed for the intensity of its painted walls in ‘Majorelle Blue’, and its incredible collection of cacti of all shapes and sizes brought together from all parts of the globe.
