Seen one way ‘Wedge’ is simply a cast glass shape tapering to a thin edge that might well function as such, or as a ramp or an incline.
Seen another way, standing vertically, it takes on the ascending form of a buttress or peak – the pinnacle of a linear structure that lies beneath its base. Then again, resting on one of its other two sides, it resembles a thick icy segment encapsulating anthropomorphic traces of it’s own evolution.
