About the Work

Celia’s interest is in familiar objects, how we use and ritualise them, commemorate and collect them. Fascinated by industrial processes, she adapts traditional modelling and casting techniques used in the making of both glass and ceramics. Tonal blends and colour weave throughout the work and unique surfaces are obtained through thorough material research and testing.
