Spring Open House & Launch

08.04.16 - 17.04.16

The 2016 Spring Open House sees the launch of ‘Klimt’, the brand new body of work by Peter Layton. Inspired by the Austrian master, and following many months of developmental work, Layton has resolved the series with four stunning designs, each a unique interpretation of Gustav Klimt’s iconic paintings.

Forest Floorfeatures a rare and judicious use of dichroic glass and sparkles with autumnal lustre, whilst Pointillist is an expressive take on Klimt’s lesser known treescapes. Circle of Hope is directly inspired by the flowing robe worn by the elegant subject of the ‘Hope’ masterpiece, and Landscape sees foliage-like elements carefully juxtaposed against a backdrop of linear patternwork.

The Spring Open House will also feature a range of Studio Sale pieces to suit all budgets, allowing you to capture your own unique slice of British glassmaking history to cherish for years to come.

Opening hours:

Mon-Sat: 10am-6pm

Sun 10 & 17th: 11am-5pm
