Overlapping, twisting ribbons of colour like brush strokes in paint are composed in the glass. In this work Tim looks to paint with light. He exploits the transparency of glass, manipulating and distorting both colour and form in order to challenge the viewer’s perceptions. The overlapping transparent blue, orange and pink create illusions of purples and greens.
