The Coralforms stem from my visit to the Barrier Reef. They involve making a perfect bowl or dish, then buckling the hot shape, before reheating and spinning it out. The result is very much a product of chance; knowing when to stop the process and ‘freeze’ the form is the key skill. The forms have been acid etched to give a soft matte surface. I have added gilded highlights to signify the inestimable value of our coral reefs.
