Depicted through a gradient of colour, Bethany Wood's new work represents the linear passing of time. Rising from the deep, rich blue of the night sky to a dazzling golden sunrise, every half inch symbolises each hour of the summer solstice.
The cylindrical vessel speaks to the panoramic view of our skies, with large wisps of blown glass hugging the exterior and mimicking rays of sunlight and sunset. Solstice is a true celebration of our Summer.
